Warranty

1.     Introduction

1.1    By placing an order, you implicitly agree to all the terms outlined below.

1.2    This warranty is offered by Ebikes Discount and is applicable exclusively to the original owner from the date of purchase. It is not transferable to any other party.

1.3    Under no circumstances shall Ebikes Discount be held liable for any direct, incidental, or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, damages related to personal injury, property damage, or economic loss. This holds true regardless of whether the claim is based on contract, warranty, negligence, product liability, or any other legal theory.

1.4    This policy shall apply to all orders submitted through our website.

1.5 Our e-bike warranty spans a specific timeframe. During this period, if you encounter non-human-induced damage, we will promptly dispatch replacement parts at no cost to you.

1.6 For any repair needs beyond the warranty period, the cost of replacement parts and associated shipping fees will be the responsibility of the customer. Rest assured, the e-bikes we offer are brand new, and all components are exact matches to the originals.

1.7 Please be aware that our warranty does not extend to Second-hand ebikes and Modified ebikes

2.     Warranty Coverage

2.1    The warranty is asserted when the received product does not work flawlessly or does not have the features specified in the warranty card or advertising message, or when a product defect appears within the first 12 months from the date of purchase. The seller undertakes that the errors will be resolved accordingly to section 5.3, or corrected accordingly to section 5.4.

2.2    The seller will process issues of Section 5.4 within 45 days following the day we receive your returned product. The seller will send spare part of Section 5.3 within 7 days of identifying the issue.

2.3    If the seller fails to provide the buyer with a solution within 45 days, the seller will replace the product with an identical, new and flawless product free of charge.

2.4    The seller offers a guarantee for all products. The warranty for all-electric vehicles applies to the battery, electronic components and motors. The chassis and body are not covered by the warranty. Also not parts that are subject to wear and tear (such as tires, lights, etc.). The warranty is not taken into account when it comes to mechanical damage to the device or damage originating from mechanical damage to the device. Failure to follow the instructions for use, storage and maintenance can lead to the exclusion of the warranty.

2.5    The warranty does not exclude the consumer’s rights arising from the seller’s responsibility for product defects.

3.     Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

The following conditions are expressly excluded from our warranty coverage:

3.1    The warranty service does not apply to parts that are subject to wear and tear and external influences (tubes, casing, tires, bearings…).

3.2    The warranty is also not taken into account due to improper setting and handling of the device, mechanical defects, defects due to unprofessional, negligent handling of the product, any unauthorized intervention in the device, if the defect occurred due to the use of unsuitable consumables if non-original parts were installed in the device parts, due to excessive voltage of electric current, force majeure, lightning strike, battery drain, improper cleaning of products or its parts, and ingress of liquid into the device.

3.3    Before handing the device over for service, it must be cleaned of all impurities. In cases of improper use, use of force, and interventions that were not carried out by an authorized service, the warranty does not apply. This warranty does not limit your legal rights.

3.4    The product is intended exclusively for personal use and not for commercial purposes.

3.5    Failures resulting from the user’s failure to use, maintain, and adjust the product as per the instructions provided in the manual.

3.6    Minor scratches or outer package box damage caused during accessory transportation by logistics providers are not eligible for warranty coverage.

3.7    Please contact us and obtain written approval before returning any item. Products returned without prior acceptance will not be eligible for a refund.

3.8    Consumable parts, including but not limited to tires, saddles, plastic components, brakes, brake rotors, brake pads, brake lines, and surface scratches, are not covered by the warranty.

3.9    Failures caused by user-initiated disassembly, repair, or modification that does not adhere to the prescribed usage guidelines.

3.10 Improper Use, Storage, or Accidents: Failures arising from the user’s improper use, storage, or accidents.

3.11 Costs incurred when seeking repairs at non-authorized repair facilities without prior consent.

4.    Waranty Process

Step 1: Capture the Issue

• Begin by taking clear photographs or short videos of the problem you’re experiencing.

Step 2: Contact our Service Team

• Send a brief description of the issue along with the images or videos to support@ebikesdiscount.com.
• Include your order number and specify the platform through which you made the purchase.

Step 3: Initial Diagnosis

• Our experienced team will promptly evaluate your provided information. If the issue is readily identifiable, we will offer an appropriate solution.

Step 4: Complex Issues

• For more intricate concerns that cannot be diagnosed immediately, we will furnish you with troubleshooting files. These files will guide you in conducting further assessments.
• Following the troubleshooting process, kindly provide us with corresponding videos or images.
• After receiving your detailed diagnostic material, we will propose a solution.

Step 5: Verification and Resolution

• We will validate your order details and delivery address to ensure accuracy.
• Once the information is verified, we will promptly dispatch the necessary replacement components to resolve the issue.
